James Roman

James Roman is an experienced public servant in the Philippine government, currently serving as Head of Government Relations and Local Partnerships at Grab, while also holding the position of Chief Executive Officer at CLICDPH, Inc. They have focused on humanitarian aid, disaster risk reduction, and social protection program implementation, previously working as a Programme Coordinator at the Office of the President and as Partnerships Development Manager for the Conditional Cash Transfer program. James founded the Taguyod Bayan Foundation Inc. to implement disaster-resilient villages in vulnerable areas and has held a Postgraduate Research Fellowship at Islamic Relief Bangladesh. They hold multiple academic degrees in Political Science, Public Administration, and International Development from prestigious institutions including the University of Birmingham and the University of the Philippines.
