Jian Lai

Jian Lai is a Senior Data Science/Machine Learning Manager at Grab, where they lead innovation in search services to enhance customer experience and business impact. They manage a team focused on query understanding, recaller systems, and ranking models, employing advanced machine learning techniques for personalized and efficient search results. Previously, Jian served as Head of AI at MOZAT PTE LTD and was a Postdoc at the National University of Singapore. Jian earned a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Zhejiang University.
