Michael Cheah

Michael Cheah is a Principal Software Engineer at Grab since December 2018, focusing on maintaining high QPS and reliable systems essential to the core Transport flow. Prior to this role, Michael served as Chief Architect of Infrastructure at Fave from October 2015 to November 2018, overseeing the infrastructure needs of the Fave Platform and managing setups with Ansible. Earlier, from October 2012 to September 2015, Michael led mobile development at GrabTaxi Pte Ltd, guiding the development of Android and iOS applications to ensure scalability and adaptability to business demands. Michael holds a B.S. in Natural Sciences with a focus on Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed in 2012.
