Michael Chu

Michael (Zheng Hui) Chu is a skilled software engineer currently working at Grab since April 2023, where contributions include enhancing the core Identity Service for seamless authentication across eight Southeast Asian countries and developing an internal IAM platform for over 12,000 employees. Prior experience includes establishing the Automation Engineering team at Sony Electronics, where Michael designed and implemented web-based automation solutions for Sony Android TV, and working at Intel Corporation as a Failure Analysis R&D Engineer, focusing on Python automation scripts to enhance Hardware Quality Assurance. An internship at the Centre for Quantum Technologies involved providing technical support for trapped ion quantum information experiments, leading to the redesign of an Analog Switch Board into a more efficient Digital Switch Board. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with Electronics from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, where studies spanned from 2015 to 2018.
