Nate Smith

Nate Smith has extensive experience in research, product management, and technology leadership across various organizations. Smith began a career as an Associate in Research at Duke Global Health Institute and then held multiple roles at the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, including Technical Product Manager and President of the Board of Directors. Additional experience includes positions as an International Programs Assistant and Policy Intern at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, and the role of Global Health Fellow at The George Washington University. Smith contributed to Development Seed as Business Development Lead & Product Manager and Data Analyst Lead before taking on key roles at Gojek and Pluvia.ai, where Smith serves as Chief Product Officer. Currently, Smith is the Founder and Director of Sixth Parallel Labs and Head of Product and Map Operations at Grab. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University.
