Prem Kumar

Prem Kumar has extensive experience in engineering leadership, currently serving as the Head of Engineering for the Mobility and Deliveries Vertical at Grab since October 2016. In this role, Prem oversees engineering efforts for customer-facing platforms, enhancing services in Mobility and Deliveries. Previously, Prem held positions including Head of Engineering for Payments and Rewards and Driver Experience at Grab, focusing on wallet solutions and improving driver interactions. Prior to Grab, Prem worked at Samsung R&D Institute India, where responsibilities included managing the GearManager project and leading engineering teams for Android OS upgrades. Prem's career includes roles at Motorola and Microsoft, with a strong foundation in software engineering and system architecture. Prem holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from BIT Mesra and completed an Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
