Roy Zhang is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and team management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Grab since September 2019, Roy leads a diverse organization of engineers focused on improving supply management, driver engagement, and job dispatch systems in Southeast Asia. Previously, Roy held positions at Grab as a Senior Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included managing large teams and enhancing service delivery for business partners. Prior to rejoining Grab, Roy worked as an Engineer at Facebook, contributing to the Global Operations team to combat policy violations. Roy's early career includes roles as Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Grab, as well as as Software Engineer at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology Centre. Roy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore.
