Xi Chen

Xi Chen is the Head of Engineering at Grab, where they have been instrumental in developing payment systems over their six years with the company. Previously starting as a Software Engineer, they designed APIs and backend systems for GrabPay and led the wallet's launch across multiple countries. As a Lead Engineer, they built the in-house payment gateway ecosystem. Currently, as a Senior Engineering Manager, they have expanded their team and built essential platforms for various Grab businesses. Xi earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore.
