Chris Cowden has over 17 years of experience in software engineering. Chris began their career in 2003 as an Associate Software Engineer at Emulex. Chris then moved to EndGame Interactive in 2004 as a Software Engineer, followed by NCsoft in 2005 in the same role. In 2008, they joined Marblez Entertainment Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they designed and built core pieces of technology for a web-based, online virtual world. In 2010, they co-designed and programmed the iOS app "TapTot" at Blue Mint Studios. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Bigfoot Networks as a Senior Software Engineer, where they co-created the patented bandwidth control firmware. Finally, in 2014, they joined Grace and Lace as Director of Operations, with a mission to help change the world for the better.
Chris Cowden obtained a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside between 1996 and 2000. Chris then went on to obtain an M.S. in Computer Science from the same university between 2000 and 2003. In February 2020, they also obtained two certifications from LinkedIn, one entitled "Building a Coaching Culture: Improving Performance Through Timely Feedback" and the other entitled "Take a More Creative Approach to Problem-Solving".
