Grace on Wings, Inc

Grace On Wings is a non-profit public charity organization under IRS code 501(c)(3) that provides charity air ambulance services within the United States and is based out of the Indianapolis International Airport. "The Nations Only Air Charity Ambulance" -- AIR AMBULANCE: THE "HEART" OF OUR MISSION Inspired by the need of two young Indianapolis girls who suffer from a genetic bone disorder that requires regular visits to a Baltimore specialist -- more than 11 hours away by car -- we researched available charitable air ambulance services in the Midwest and were disappointed to find only a few in existence in the entire country. As told to us by the largest non-medical charity transport company, the need for air ambulance charity service is HUGE. Many people are unable to afford the transport to get the medical care they so desperately need. With the support of charitable funding, Grace on Wings provides transport to patients who are needing to go for important treatment throughout the United States. --- Who Qualifies? The cost of a commercial air ambulance service is an expense that most insurance polices do not cover, and many families are not able to pay for commercial service. Our charity air ambulance service is available for those who are: • Too ill for commercial flight. • Too ill for long distance ground transportation. • Unable to afford transportation to access critical medical care. • To be eligible, the patient must have a condition requiring medically-supervised transport for a distance of at least 150 miles.
