Cynthia Burnett-Hill has extensive experience in the education field. Cynthia started their career as a Teacher/Pre-School Coordinator at The Clifton Schools Child Development Center in 1989. During their time there, they directed a summer extension program and implemented a curriculum for students. In 1996, they moved on to Atlanta International School, where they taught as a Teacher and later a Kindergarten Teacher. Cynthia was responsible for adapting teaching methods and materials to meet students' needs. In 2003, Cynthia became the Summer Camp Director and Pre-School Coordinator at Pre-School Co-ordinator. In 2004, they joined Kennesaw Charter School as a Teacher, where they successfully implemented standardized tests and ensured curriculum standards were met. In 2005, Cynthia became a Teacher and Language Arts Department Chair at St. Martin's Episcopal School in Atlanta, where they adapted teaching methods and planned and implemented the first-grade curriculum. Currently, they are the Head of Preschool at Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School in Memphis.
Cynthia Burnett-Hill started their education history in 2002 at Kennesaw State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Cynthia continued to further their education in 2009 at Indiana Wesleyan University, where they achieved a Master of Education degree with a focus on Curriculum & Instruction/Leadership.
