Avi Cohen

Avi Cohen has extensive work experience in various financial and management roles. Avi is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at F9 Brands Inc., a company that owns and manages businesses in the building products and home improvement markets. Avi joined Cabinets To Go in 2019 as its Chief Financial Officer and later took on the same role at Southwind Building Products in 2021. Avi also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Gracious Home, a home decor retailer. In addition, Avi held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director at F9 Investments, TS Family Office, F9 Properties, Juniper Lane, and Park Street Management. Prior to these roles, Avi was a Managing Director and Trusted Adviser at GFO Solutions, Inc. Avi also worked as the Director and Investment Officer at the Phyllis & Jerome Lyle Rappaport Foundation, where they were responsible for overseeing various investments and managing the foundation's portfolio. Avi has a strong background in the financial industry, founding and heading Avian Securities, LLC, a technology-focused brokerage firm. Avi also has experience as a Buy-Side Trader and Portfolio Manager at Moriarty Capital, LLC, and as a Proprietary Derivative Trader at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Avi Cohen earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University of Chicago during the period of 1989 to 1993. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Brooklyn Technical High School from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained their High School Diploma with a focus on Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. In addition, they obtained the certification of Financial Principal from FINRA in 1993.
