Vig Sachidananda, PhD, is an accomplished investor currently with Gradient Ventures, focusing on AI investments since March 2023. Previously, Vig held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stanford University from July 2016 to December 2022, where research encompassed machine learning applications in distributed systems and instruction in Artificial Intelligence. As a Founding Engineer, Vig contributed to Clockwork Systems from January 2019 to January 2020 during its seed stage, which later secured Series A financing. Experience also includes an AI/ML Consultant role at Microsoft (June 2017 - June 2018) and co-founding Celect, Inc., an AI startup acquired by Nike in 2019.
