Mechanical Design Engineer at Gradient

Erdem Yilmaz began their work experience in 2012 as a Project Assistant at Karyagaz CNG, LLC, where they designed piping systems and participated in a notable project in Turkey. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Manufacturing and Design Engineer at ISIMEK Machinery and Boiler Manufacturing, LLC, improving operations planning for industrial boilers. In 2018, Erdem served as a Graduate Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Bridgeport, working on a CFD study and assisting with an undergraduate course. Erdem then joined Hubbell Heaters in 2019 and held roles as both an R&D Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer. At Hubbell Heaters, they achieved various accomplishments such as accelerating project progress, reducing manufacturing throughput time, identifying process improvements, and establishing strategies for Six Sigma projects. In 2020, Erdem joined Vaughn Thermal Corporation as a Mechanical Engineer and recently, in 2022, they started working at Gradient as a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Erdem Yilmaz earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Selcuk University, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. Erdem then pursued further education at the University of Bridgeport, where they obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their academic qualifications, Erdem also obtained a Certificate of Graduation with Honors from the English Language Institute at the University of Bridgeport in March 2016 and a Certificate of Internal Quality Auditing from Selcuk University in May 2012.
