Senior Mechanical Engineer at Gradient

Kylie Copenhagen has a strong background in mechanical engineering. Kylie worked at Gradient as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, responsible for system design, component integration, and prototype iterations. Prior to that, they were a Mechanical Engineer at the same company, where they played a key role in the development of more efficient and environmentally friendly heating and cooling equipment.

Kylie also has experience as a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer at Wonder Workshop, a contractor at Insight Global, an Engineering Intern at Kodo Kids, and a Technical Marketing Intern at Keysight Technologies. Additionally, they worked as an Engineering Instructor and Counselor at Education Unlimited's Camp Brainy Bunch and as a Math Tutor for pre-calculus and algebra.

Furthermore, Kylie has an entrepreneurial side, having invented and designed The Ladybug Game, a board game that promotes reading and math skills for children. The game has achieved significant success, selling over 1 million copies nationwide and earning a Parent's Choice Award in 2004.

Kylie Copenhagen has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. During their time at the university, they also pursued a Certificate in Engineering Management. Prior to that, they attended the University of Connecticut from 2013 to 2014, where they studied Mechanical Engineering. In terms of their secondary education, Kylie graduated from Amador Valley High School in the year 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also earned the certification of Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) from the SOLIDWORKS® Certification Center in December 2015. Furthermore, they have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam administered by the NCEES.
