Cortez E. Richardson is a retired law enforcement executive from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of the Inspector General (HUD OIG).
Richardson has over 30 years of government service as a Corrections Officer, Uniformed Police Officer, Detective Police Sergeant, Federal Criminal Investigator, Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Special Agent in Charge, and Acting Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Investigation.
Richardson attended Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas. He studied Electronic Engineering Technology for 3 years. He then earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma.
During his Federal career, Richardson was the lead investigator in a successfully prosecuted nursing home investigation involving 12 million- dollars of equity skimming.
