Pramath Raj Sinha

Pramath Raj Sinha is an accomplished leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in education and business. Currently serving as President at upGrad since May 2024, Pramath is also the Founder of The Naropa Fellowship and Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, both of which have been active since 2017 and 2015, respectively. As a founder and director at 9.9 Group Pvt Ltd since 2007, Pramath has played a crucial role in leading and establishing various educational initiatives, including serving as Founding Dean of the Indian School of Business and as a trustee at Ashoka University. Previous roles include MD & CEO of ABP Pvt Ltd and Principal at McKinsey & Company. Pramath holds an MSE and PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania, along with a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
