Iona Geddes

Iona Geddes is an experienced design professional with a robust background in innovation and strategic design. Currently serving as a Design Consultant and Innovation Designer at Graft since October 2021, Iona previously held the role of Design Strategist at Innovation Academy from April to August 2021. In 2020, Iona worked as a Researcher for the Scottish Games Network, contributing to a significant report on the Scottish games industry with a focus on public engagement. A collaborative research project was undertaken with Glasgow City Council in 2019, emphasizing user research and community engagement. Earlier experience includes positions as an Assistant Milliner at Fabhatrix Edinburgh and a Farm Assistant and Cafe Worker at Gorgie City Farm. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of European Design with Distinction from The Glasgow School of Art and additional design studies at Politecnico di Milano and Köln International School of Design.
