George C. Boyles

In October 2019, George was appointed as Interim President and Chief Administrative Officer of Grafton City Hospital and in April 2020 was designated as the permanent Chief Administrative Officer. George grew up in Fairmont, West Virginia. He is a Certified Management Accountant and has received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the West Virginia University. After working in the electric utility industry for 26 years serving in various financial management roles, George served as Controller at Fairmont General Hospital for nearly 8 years. George has also served between 2011 and 2019 as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Mercer Health (76 bed acute care hospital) located in Coldwater, Ohio. During his time at Mercer Health, George served as the Hospital’s [project leader for a $24 million building (67, 000 square feet) wing expansion that came in under budget and ahead of schedule.
