Terri Cope Walton

Terri Cope Walton serves as the Vice President and General Manager of WJXT and WCWJ at Graham Media Group, a position held since 2021. Prior to this role, Walton gained extensive experience at The E.W. Scripps Company from 2012 to 2021, where responsibilities included Senior Director of News and Assistant News Director for WRTV. Earlier career positions include Community Affairs Producer and News Producer at McGraw Hill's WRTV, along with roles at Cox Media Group and Cox Radio. Walton began a career path in education as a Language Arts Teacher at Nettie Lee Roth Middle School in the Dayton Public School District. Educational qualifications include a BA in English Literature from Central State University, a Diversity and Inclusion certificate from Cornell University, and completion of the Broadcast Leadership Training Program through the National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation.
