Benny Cox has a diverse work experience in various companies, showcasing strong skills in Java development and software engineering. Benny started their career at FGM, Inc. in 2004, where they worked as a Software/Applications Engineer. Benny then moved on to SoSACorp as a Java/J2EE Applications Engineer (Contractor), participating in the development of a web-based decision support system for the United States Forces Korea. Benny continued their contracting work at HCI Integrated Solutions, where they initiated the development of a scalable web-based warehouse management system for the United States Marine Corp. Benny also worked at Northrop Grumman as a Software/Applications Engineer (Contractor), performing enhancements and maintenance for the Law Enforcement Information Exchange (LInX) system.
In 2007, Benny joined EDS as a Java Applications Engineer/Developer, contributing to the development of a scalable web-based n-tier medical enrollment system for the Department of Defense. Benny then joined Salem Health Solutions as a Senior Solutions Developer (Software Developer), implementing health informatics software solutions and leading the development of a Recovery Audit Contractor tool. After that, Benny worked at Flagstar Bank as a Java Developer (Contractor), participating in the development of a web-based document tracking and management system.
In 2011, Benny joined IBM as a Java/J2EE Applications Developer, where they created a front-end controller for a web-based knowledge system and implemented new functionality for a web-based payment management system. Benny later joined Raytheon as a Senior Software Developer, responsible for developing data connectors for a large-scale intel system. Finally, Benny joined Graham Technologies in 2016 as a Senior Java Developer.
Benny Cox completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge. Benny then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, with their first enrollment spanning from 1998 to 2001, and a subsequent enrollment from 2009 to 2010.
