Gajanan Lonkar

Gajanan Lonkar is an experienced software engineering leader with a focus on data infrastructure and engineering. Currently serving as Associate Director of Software Engineering at GRAIL, Gajanan is responsible for developing a data platform to meet diverse business and clinical data needs. Previously, as Engineering Lead at Valo Health, Gajanan specialized in data infrastructure, MLOps, and backend web services. In a prior role at Zymergen, Inc., Gajanan contributed to infrastructure and data engineering, enhancing backend systems in multiple programming languages. Gajanan's early career included significant roles at VUDU, Intel Corporation, and Toastmasters International, showcasing a strong background in software development, technical marketing, and educational leadership. Gajanan holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
