Peter Murphy

Peter Murphy has extensive work experience in various roles within the utilities and civils industry. Peter is currently the Head of National FTTP Operations at Grain, where they manage the FTTP roll out across strategic towns in the UK. Prior to that, they were an Associate Member at The Institute of Directors. Before that, they served as the Managing Director at Jacktar Utilities ltd, where they were responsible for managing the company's utilities and civils operations. Peter also held the position of Civils Director at Kelly Group, where they provided strategic direction and was responsible for P and L and margin growth. Earlier in their career, Peter worked as an Operations Director on various water and gas contracts, focusing on business turn around projects. Peter also had consulting roles as the Managing Director/Owner of Jacktar ltd, where they handled FM contracts and green spaces/veg management for British waterways and other projects. Peter's career began at Thames Water, where they started as a field worker and eventually became a Regional Operations Manager.
