Roland Barzegar

Roland Barzegar has a diverse work experience in finance and leadership roles. Roland is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Grain Connect Limited since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the CFO at 7Technologies, a private equity/VC backed technology business, where they were responsible for finance, commercial, HR, IT, and security. Roland served in this role from April 2018 to March 2021. Before that, they worked as the CFO at New Street Group from September 2016 to May 2018. Roland also held various roles at Plusnet, including CFO and Financial Controller. Roland was a Board Director and member of the Plusnet Leadership Team, reporting directly to the BT Consumer CFO. Roland started their career at EY as an Assistant Director in Restructuring and M&A from July 2008 to June 2012. Prior to that, they worked at Momentum Corporate Finance LLP and PwC in executive roles in M&A and Restructuring respectively.

Roland Barzegar attended the University of Bristol from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics & Finance. Roland then obtained the FCA certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Additionally, Roland Barzegar is a Certified Coaching Practitioner, having completed the training at Achology in February 2021.
