Tjapko Poppens

Tjapko Poppens has a strong background in international sales and leadership roles. Tjapko started their career at Meelunie America, Inc. in 1996 as the Director of Operations and held the position until 2003. Tjapko then became the Vice President of Meelunie America, Inc. from 2004 to 2009. After that, they joined Agridient, Inc. as the Vice President from 2009 to 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President International Sales at Grain Processing Corporation since 2017, where they previously served as the Director of International Sales from 2017 to 2020.

Tjapko Poppens completed their Bachelor's Degree in International Trade at Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences from 1988 to 1992. Tjapko then pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Economics from Wageningen University & Research between 1992 and 1995.
