Carlos Osiel Rojas Velázquez

Carlos Osiel Rojas Velázquez has held various positions in the tech industry since 2009. At Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas, they held the role of DevOps Engineer, where they were responsible for administering Linux servers and services, as well as managing the infrastructure for Continuous Integration in Jenkins. Carlos Osiel also held the role of Programmer, where they were a full-stack developer of web applications with Python and PHP. In 2016, they began working at Samsystems as a Full-stack Developer, where they automated tests and deploys using Jenkins and Docker Cloud. In 2017, they began working at RedWagon as a DevOps Engineer, where they implemented and managed the infrastructure of the company, and managed CI/CD with Docker images, Kubernetes, and Jenkins in Google Cloud Platform. In 2018, they began working at GrainChain Inc, where they held two roles: Site Reliability Engineer, where they led a team of Site Reliability Engineers and built continuous integration and continuous delivery with pipelines, and Full Stack Engineer, where they created and managed the infrastructure for blockchain applications and developed applications to interact with blockchain networks.

Carlos Osiel Rojas Velázquez obtained an Engineer in Computer Sciences degree from the Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas between 2008 and 2013, with a field of study in Computer Engineer. Carlos Osiel also obtained a Grado en Ingeniería from the same university between 2008 and 2013, with a field of study in Ingeniería de software. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf in June 2020, Fluidez de Duolingo en portugués: Básico (Estimado) from Duolingo in February 2016, Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2022, and Lifelong Learning from CertiProf in August 2020.
