Riku Niemelä

Riku Niemelä has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Member of the Board at Oceanvolt since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as the CEO of GrainSense from December 2019 onwards. Riku also held the position of Member of the Board at Max Technologies from January 2018 to January 2022, and at Agronic Oy from November 2017 to April 2021.

Riku Niemelä also has experience as the CEO of Kuljetusliike Kristo Oy from January 2018 to December 2019, as well as a Member of the Board at Siipotec Oy from April 2017 to April 2018.

Before entering these leadership roles, they held the position of CEO at Lappli-Talot Oy from July 2014 to April 2017. Riku was also the CoB/HPJ at PRT PRO from October 2014 to November 2015, and the CEO of Jutel Oy from April 2013 to July 2014.

Riku Niemelä's earlier experience includes working at Finpro as the Head of Finpro Middle East and Commercial Counsellor of Finland from August 2011 to March 2013.

Riku Niemelä completed their eMBA degree at the University of Oulu from 2003 to 2005. In 2013 to 2014, they obtained a HHJ, hyväksytty hallituksen jäsen (approved board member) certification from the Chamber of Commerce in Oulu. In 2017, they attended TMA Finland to study turnaround management.
