Gram-Chetna Andolan is a local civic organization nurturing crisis sensitive hyperlocal leadership through community dialogue, constructive action and civil resistance. As a catalyst collective of problem solvers, entrepreneur and public leader, the organization strives to reimagine communities and its cultural and constitutional institutions.

Vision :
A future where villages are living systems—socially cohesive, politically assertive, economically resilient, ecologically regenerative, and culturally rooted.

Mission :
Our mission is to mobilise and organise citizens and train them to be hyperlocal leaders around the meta-crises of our time. So that as solvers, entrepreneurs, and public leaders, they can reimagine rural institutions and solve the pressing challenges rural India is facing today—such as the climate crisis, agrarian distress, forced migration, economic inequality, and polarisation—while ensuring community leadership, participation, and ownership in rural institutions.
