Karen August Bækgaard

Karen August Bækgaard has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Karen has served as the Global Head of Business Development at Gram Equipment A/S since April 2019. Prior to that, from August 2017 to March 2019, they worked as the Head of Pricing and Logistics at Frontmatec. At Skandinavisk Motor Co. A/S, they held various roles, including Head of Market Development, Group Service, Group Markedsudviklingschef, and Markedsanalytiker, from October 2012 to July 2017. Karen also has experience in research and analysis, having worked as a cand.scient.pol at Aarhus University from September 2006 to August 2012. Additionally, they have held positions such as Organizational Vice Chairman at Save the Children Youth - Denmark and Intern at the Embassy of Denmark in Cairo. Karen has also contributed as an Intern at Danmarks Radio and volunteered at Red Barnet Ungdom.

Karen August Bækgaard attended Aarhus University from 2006 to 2011, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science. In 2009, they also pursued additional studies at Aarhus University, specializing in Marketing Management as a part of the Enkeltfag program. Continuing their education, Karen completed their cand.scient.pol degree in Political Science and Government at Aarhus University from 2009 to 2012.
