Apurva Vijay Ghugey

Apurva Vijay Ghugey is the Thematic Manager at Gram Vikas, a position they have held since October 2018. Prior to this, they were a SBI Youth For India (YFI) Fellow at SBI Foundation from August 2017 to September 2018, where they worked to initiate the establishment of health-promoting schools by building peer leadership in the rural Kalahandi district of Odisha. From February 2017 to July 2017, Ghugey worked on their Masters Dissertation (MPH) on the topic of "Mothers' Attitudes, Perception, and Practices for Initiation of Oral Hygiene Habits in Children: A Qualitative Study in Nagpur Tahsil". Apurva also conducted a quantitative study on "Assessment of the change in oral health status after a health education intervention in the community among the students studying in class 5th to 9th in Nagpur, Maharashtra" as part of their MPH summer internship with Amhi Amachya Arogysathi from June 2016 to July 2016. Ghugey completed their rotatory internship with Government Dental College & Hospital (Nagpur) from March 2014 to April 2015.
