Narahari Rout

Narahari Rout has more than 35 years of experience working across the different thematic areas of focus at Gram Vikas. He has worked in watershed development, horticulture and agriculture-based livelihoods, water and sanitation, and community mobilisation.

He joined Gram Vikas in 1986 as Block Supervisor to promote smokeless chullah in Patrapur block, Ganjam district. He has since then worked across districts in Odisha, implementing programmes in water and sanitation, food security, livelihoods, social forestry, and community institution development.

Narahari completed his Intermediate in Arts from Harekrushna Mahatab College, Balasore district in Odisha.
