Jarrett Golding is an experienced professor and screenwriter with a substantial background in transmedia design and creative writing. Currently, Golding serves as a Professor of Transmedia Design and Creative Writing at the Los Angeles Film School and holds multiple affiliated professor positions at Pepperdine University, where courses include storytelling through media and various screenwriting classes. Prior teaching roles span institutions such as the University of Southern California and the University of California, Santa Barbara. With extensive industry experience, Golding has contributed as a Writers' Assistant on acclaimed television series such as "Parks and Recreation" and "Bonfire of the Vanities," and held a creative executive role at Amazon Studios, overseeing development in comedy and children's programming. Golding holds an MFA in Writing for Screen and Television from the University of Southern California and a BA in English Language and Literature from Washington University in St. Louis.
