Hassan Mahmud

Hassan Mahmud is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience at Grameenphone Ltd since October 2010, currently serving as the Head of Core Telco IT. In this capacity, Hassan oversees the architecture, planning, development, and operations of Core Telco IT, including Business Support Systems and Value-added services. Previous roles include Head of Digital Services & Development, where Hassan led a team responsible for innovative digital applications and services. With a background that includes significant positions at Ericsson, Huawei, and ZTE Corporation, Hassan has developed a strong expertise in solution architecture, business development, and technology strategy. Educational qualifications include an MBA from North South University, various leadership certifications from Telenor Academy, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from the Islamic University of Technology.
