Kaushik Ahmed

Kaushik Ahmed has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications field. Kaushik began their career as a System Engineer at Grameenphone Ltd in 2011, where they handled 1st line fault handling for various core, IN, VAS, and packet core nodes. From 2013 to 2016, they served as a Senior System Engineer, responsible for O&M of core switching nodes and ensuring smooth integration of new services. In 2016, Kaushik was promoted to Lead Engineer, where they led the analysis team of the core switching system and handled fault handling, call routing analysis, and various other responsibilities. In 2018, they took on the role of Senior Lead Engineer & IMS solution architect, focusing on IMS solutions and architecture. In 2019, Kaushik became the Head of Core Capacity & Performance Management, overseeing these key areas. Currently, they serve as the Domain Lead (Principal Engineer) for Voice Core Services, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to their telecom career, Kaushik worked as a lecturer at Prime University from August 2010 to January 2011.

Kaushik Ahmed has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Dhaka (2020-2022). Prior to that, they obtained a BSc degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (2006-2010). Before entering university, they completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate in Science at Bogra Cantonment Public School & College (2003-2005) and their Secondary School Certificate in Science at Polli Unnayan Academy Laboratory High School (2000-2003).

Additionally, Kaushik Ahmed has obtained several certifications including "Mastering Communications as a Leader" and "What's Next: Reinventing Work in the New Normal" from LinkedIn in 2022 and 2021 respectively. Kaushik has also completed various other courses and certifications in areas such as data-driven decision-making, agile project management, cybersecurity awareness, and Linux essentials.
