Cindy Robinson

Cindy Robinson, M.Sc., P.Geo., serves as a Senior Geoscience Advisor - Exploration at Gran Tierra Energy since February 2022. Previously, Cindy was the Team Lead for Exploration New Ventures at CNOOC International from July 2016 to August 2020, overseeing new venture evaluations in various regions including offshore Brazil and West Africa, with expertise in play fairway analysis and seismic interpretation. Prior to this, Cindy was an Exploration Geoscientist and Development Geologist at Nexen from May 2006 to May 2016, focusing on unconventional reservoirs and contributing to extensive exploration projects in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Education includes a Master of Science in Petroleum Geology and a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science and Psychology from the University of Calgary, along with leadership training from Newcastle University and the University of Oxford.
