Diego Chaparro

Diego Chaparro is an experienced logistics and operations professional with a background in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Coordinador de Logística y Transporte at Gran Tierra Energy since August 2018. Responsibilities include resource management and analyzing transportation operations for hydrocarbons. Previously, Diego held several roles at Weatherford, including Coordinador Logístico for the Picoplata1 field and Analista Logístico in Barrancabermeja, where achievements included optimizing logistics costs and strengthening supplier relationships. Additionally, Diego has experience in logistics and production management from positions at Avidesa Mac Pollo S.A. and Penagos Company. Diego holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, a diploma in integrated management systems from SENA, and a specialization in Logistics Management from Universidad de La Sabana.
