Eric Alexander Moreno Cuervo

Eric Alexander Moreno Cuervo is an experienced geologist with a strong background in reservoir characterization and geological modeling. Currently serving as a Development, Operations, and Reservoir Geologist at Gran Tierra Energy since January 2014, Eric focuses on the quantification and characterization of conventional reservoirs through geological mapping and geostatistical modeling. Prior experience includes roles as an Exploration and Reservoir Geologist at KW SERVICIOS INTEGRADOS, where opportunities to optimize hydrocarbon resources were identified, and as a Junior Geologist at CEPSA, where reservoir mapping and commercial reports were produced. Eric also gained early experience as a Dataloader at AIP, managing seismic and well data for projects in Colombia. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a Master of Science in Geology and Sedimentary Reservoirs Exploration from Universitat de Barcelona.
