Jon Young

Jon Young, CPA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and investor relations within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Corporate Finance at Gran Tierra Energy, Jon is responsible for corporate finance initiatives, capital structure management, and providing critical analysis to senior management and the Board of Directors. Previous roles include Team Lead for Financial Reporting at Gran Tierra Energy and Manager at KPMG Canada, where Jon managed a large team and delivered solutions on financial reporting and internal controls. Early career positions encompassed various accounting roles at KPMG and analytical support at Enbridge Pipelines. Jon holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation and degrees in Commerce from the University of Victoria and Louvain School of Management.
