Eric Monterastelli

Eric Monterastelli has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology industry. Eric currently works at Dynatrace as a Public Sector SE. Prior to their current role, they were the Founder and Crew Chief of Gran Touring Motorsports, where they led a team of 70+ people and developed multiple websites using custom PHP and MYSQL.

Eric also worked at COMSO, Inc. as an Engineering Manager and Lead Architect, where they displayed leadership and expertise in designing and developing complex architectures and systems integration for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). At Anomali, they served as a Senior Public Sector Solutions Architect, and at Symantec, they held positions as a Cyber Security Specialist and a Senior Federal Sales Engineer.

Before that, Eric worked at LogRhythm as a Federal Cyber Security Engineer, specializing in network security, security intelligence, and event management. Eric also worked at Infoblox as a Federal Systems Engineer, focusing on data center design and infrastructure.

Eric's earlier experience includes working at the United States Department of Defense as an Enterprise Systems Architect, at Raytheon as a Senior Systems Engineer and Web Software Developer, and various technical and leadership positions at INNOREV Technologies, Electromotive Engine Management Solutions, and SPI USA, Inc.

Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated strong technical skills and a deep understanding of various technologies and systems, along with effective leadership and management abilities.

Eric Monterastelli obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Symantec™ Sales Expert Plus (SSE+) SSL Visibility in April 2017 and DeepSight Intelligence in September 2016 from Symantec. Eric also holds certifications in Infoblox CICA/CICE & NetMRI Certified from Infoblox in January 2012, ITIL v3 Foundations from the United States Department of Defense in January 2010, Red Hat Certified Technician & Engineer [RHCT/RHCE] on RHEL 5/6 from Red Hat in January 2010, Six-Sigma "Green Belt" from Raytheon in January 2008, and LogRhythm Certified Deployment Engineer [LRCDE] from LogRhythm University.
