Arlete Thompson

Arlete Thompson currently serves as the Director of Asset Integrity at Grand Bahama Power Company, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Arlete was the Maintenance and Modification Leader at Liwathon Group from February to December 2023 and held various leadership positions at Equinor from December 2018 to February 2023, including Maintenance Modification & Environment Leader and Environmental Unit Leader. Arlete also worked as a Senior Automation Engineer / Project Manager at Buckeye Partners from February 2013 to August 2021, and as an Associate Project Manager / Subcontract Technical Representative at Orano between August 2015 and December 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as Electrical Lead Engineer at Shaw Group Inc. from 2009 to 2013 and Technician I at Freeport Container Port from 2007 to 2008. Arlete holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from Georgia Southern University, earned in 2006.
