Nicole Godbout

Nicole Godbout is an experienced executive with a strong background in human resources, regulatory affairs, and asset management. Currently serving as Vice President of People & Risk at Grand Bahama Power Company, effective February 2023, responsibilities include overseeing Human Resources, Safety and Environment, Information Technology, and Regulatory and Compliance functions. Prior to this role, Nicole held various senior positions at Nova Scotia Power, including Senior Director of Enterprise Asset Management and Director of Regulatory Affairs. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Legal Counsel at the Canada Energy Regulator and as Regulatory Counsel at Nova Scotia Power. Nicole began her legal career at BOYNECLARKE LLP as an Associate Lawyer and Articled Clerk. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary's University.
