Dr. Carlos Enrique Gonzalez

Dr. Carlos Enrique Gonzalez is a seasoned educational leader with extensive experience in various roles, including Founder of the Center for Cognitive Impact and CEO of Innovative Leadership Consultants, which focuses on improving educational practices for superintendents, principals, and teachers. Currently serving as Principal Site Supervisor and Faculty at Grand Canyon University, Dr. Gonzalez also held the position of Dean of School/Principal at Empowerment Academy Charter School. With a background as a Doctoral Researcher at the Center of Evidence Based Education, Dr. Gonzalez’s research emphasized the use of learning rounds to enhance professional learning in K-12 settings. Previously, as Vice Principal for Trenton Public Schools, oversight of Child Study Teams and Special Education Departments was provided. Dr. Gonzalez holds a Doctor of Education in K12 Organizational and Instructional Leadership, as well as multiple degrees in Educational Leadership and Secondary Education.
