Dr. Sophia Miranda

Dr. Sophia Miranda is an accomplished health and wellness professional with extensive experience in academic and coaching roles. As the Founder and Health and Wellness Coach at She'sEmpowered Coaching and Consulting LLC since January 2023, Dr. Miranda conducts comprehensive client assessments and provides tailored coaching for various health-related goals. Currently serving as Program Director and Associate Professor at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, responsibilities include leading the Master of Science in Health Sciences Program and refining the MSN Clinical Research curriculum. Additionally, Dr. Miranda has held key positions at Grand Canyon University as a Senior Doctoral Dissertation Chair, ensuring doctoral candidates achieve high completion rates. Past experiences include directing research education programs at Atrium Health, training professionals in compliance, and managing clinical trials at Carolina Bone and Joint. Dr. Miranda holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College (CUNY).
