Kathryn Ruhlman

Kathryn (Kate) Ruhlman is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in higher education and leadership roles. Currently serving as Resident Director at Grand Canyon University since July 2022, Ruhlman has successfully redesigned shared spaces to enhance student environments and managed budgets for resident programming. Prior to this position, Ruhlman advanced within Grand Canyon Education, Inc., first as Discover GCU Host and then as Discover GCU Team Lead, overseeing onboarding and conflict resolution while supporting admission goals. Ruhlman's background also includes serving as Head Life Leader at Grand Canyon University, where engagement in spiritual leadership and community building was pivotal, along with experience as an Event Coordinator Associate, managing campus events. Additionally, Ruhlman contributed as Service Project Coordinator for Delta Mu Delta and worked as a food server at Era Living. An active learner, Ruhlman is pursuing a Master’s degree in Leadership from Grand Canyon University, building upon a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management.
