Scott Hord

Scott Hord is an experienced Training Specialist currently self-employed since August 2024. For over 16 years, Scott has served as the Statewide Training Manager at Christian Family Care, overseeing the hiring, training, and supervision of certified trainers, while providing coaching on state laws and policies. Additional roles within Christian Family Care include Foster Family Specialist, offering support to foster families, and Community Engagement Coordinator, focusing on partnerships to enhance foster and adoptive family recruitment. Scott has been an Adjunct Online Instructor at Grand Canyon University since January 2008, teaching various courses related to Christian education and leadership. Prior experience includes directing middle school ministries at Bethel Church, pastoring junior high ministries at Grace Community Church, and serving as the first full-time youth pastor at Faith Evangelical Free Church. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Divinity from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Arts in Educational Ministry and Counseling from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Education from Multnomah University.
