Philip Mitchell

Philip (Andrew) Mitchell is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in the travel and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as the Worldwide CFO & COO at Grand Circle Corporation since April 2016, Philip oversees operations for a market leader catering to the over fifties demographic in the US, managing a revenue of €560 million. Concurrently, since September 2009, Philip has been the Finance Director at TUI Travel plc’s Destination Services Division, which generates €1,900 million across four Strategic Business Units. Previous roles include Managing Director and Finance Director at Thomas Cook, where Philip implemented a turnaround strategy for Hi! Hotels, and dual roles at MyTravel PLC and Hotetur, focusing on financial functions and business integration. Philip's career began at Airtours PLC, where responsibilities included finance, purchasing, and IT. Philip holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Lancashire and is a qualified Association of Accounting Technicians.
