Norbert Grixti

Norbert Grixti is an accomplished hotel executive with extensive experience in human resources and management, currently serving as the Managing Director of Grand Hotel Excelsior Malta since January 2007. Originally hired as the Director of Human Resources during the hotel's pre-opening phase, Norbert was quickly promoted to General Manager, leading the team to a successful launch in September 2007. Previously, Norbert held various key positions at The Suncrest Hotel from 1987 to 2007, including Assistant General Manager, Human Resources Manager, and Purchasing Manager, where responsibilities encompassed full HR oversight, performance management, and operational support. Norbert also has foundational experience in finance and legal operations, having started a career as a Legal Clerk and Front Office Clerk. Academic qualifications include a High School Diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of Leicester and a Certificate in Middle Management from the University of Malta.
