Chief Clinical Officer Of Crisis Services at GRAND Mental Health

Nic has been in the metal health field for 14 years, first providing residential substance use treatment at a correctional facility before moving to GRAND Mental Health 2 years later as a behavioral health rehabilitation specialist. Moving up to therapist and then administrative roles, Nic was appointed to the executive team in 2022.

In Nic’s current role, he’s head of crisis services, as well as housing, outreach and engagement, law enforcement relations and medical services. He is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring crisis procedures and protocols centered on serving individuals in their most vulnerable state with dignity and kindness. He oversees all outreach and engagement efforts, as well as housing efforts to create opportunities for the unhoused to find stable living, as well as the homeless to receive information and services when ready. Fostering positive law enforcement relationships throughout GRAND’s service area also falls under Nic’s purview, as does oversight of the medical services program which includes numerous physicians and psychiatrists, as well as advanced practice providers, registered nurses, and other various medical personnel. This includes monitoring physical and mental health medical needs, as well as providing quality health outcomes for individual clients and leading innovative medical treatment throughout communities in the GRAND service area.

Other programs we offer on a limited basis include Mental Health Court and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
