Ron de Jongh

CEO at Grand Pacific Health

Ron de Jongh is the current CEO of Grand Pacific Health. Ron has held this position since June 2015. Prior to this, they were the General Manager of Corporate Services for Illawarra Shoalhaven Medicare Local, responsible for finance, human resources, marketing, and information communication technology. Before that, they were the Director of The Housing Trust and a Principal Consultant for Total Health - Australian Health Management.

Ron de Jongh has dedicated their career to improving the primary health care system in Australia. Ron is a strong advocate for Aboriginal health services and has been instrumental in the delivery of Closing the Gap programs. Ron is also a champion of coordinated care and chronic disease management support.

Under Ron de Jongh's leadership, Grand Pacific Health has flourished. The organisation has grown significantly, now employing 180 staff across South Eastern NSW. It delivers a range of mental health services, including 2 headspace centres, Partners In Recovery and ATAPS programs suicide prevention services. Grand Pacific Health also has a strong presence in Aboriginal health services, Closing the Gap, Coordinated Care and chronic disease management support. Additionally, the organisation runs two successful integrated multi disciplinary Super Clinics in Shell Cove and Nowra.

Ron de Jongh is a respected leader in the primary health care sector. Ron's passion for improving the lives of all Australians drives him to continue to make a positive impact in the industry.

Ron de Jongh has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wollongong and has taken a course on Strategic Principles in Non-Profit Management at Harvard Business School.
