David Lovell

David Lovell is an experienced professional in higher education and workforce development, currently serving as the Interim Dean of Students at Grand Rapids Community College since December 2014. In addition to this role, David has held positions including Associate Director for Title III and Program Manager, overseeing a federal Department of Labor grant aimed at enhancing healthcare accessibility across seven counties in West Michigan with a program budget of $6 million. Prior to this, David worked as a Job Developer, facilitating connections between program participants and potential employers. David's earlier experience includes a role as an Outreach and Retention Specialist at Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids, where efforts were focused on improving employment services as part of an AmeriCorps commitment. David holds an M.B.A. from Davenport University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration from Ferris State University, along with an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Grand Rapids Community College.
